First published on February 22, 1997 HIGH priest of British witches Kevin Carlyon and partner Sandie, newly anointed high priestess of British witches plan a spooky return to Wiltshire on Tuesday following their ritual at Avebury last year. Kevin and Sandie have been given consent to enter the centre circle at Stonehenge on Tuesday morning by English Heritage. Following on from this they will travel to Avebury where a spell will be performed to protect the stones once and for all from vandalism this year. Kevin also intends to take the ghost of Florrie back to the Red Lion pub in Avebury as Sandie and Kevin are moving to Wiltshire in the early spring. Kevin said: "It will be interesting to see how Florrie reacts after haunting us for several months. "It will be more interesting to see how the landlord of the Red Lion, Pat McCann, reacts when we pop in for a pint, after his quote to the Sunday Mirror that "we are barred because we nicked his ghost"!"
