Lego Astronaut

Two Canadian teenagers have managed to send the first Lego man into (near) space . Using a styrofoam box, a home-stiched parachute and a helium weather balloon, the boys sent the Lego man holding a canadian flag 80,000 km high. That’s three times higher than commercial jets cruise at. The boys used four cameras to record the trip. They located the returned  Lego man and parachute, which was found 122 km from the launch site, using a GPS receiver. Using $400 of their own money, they were astonished with the results of their private project. Lego have sent their congratulations.
