Message: The people who automatically pass off crop circles as "man-made" are oblivious to the truth behind them. Have you read the book "Secret in the Fields" by Freddy Silva? If you read it, it will change your perspective on the whole phenoma. First of all, people only look at them from the pictures they see. If you take a close look at the comparison of hoaxes to genuine phenonmen, you will soon learn that hoaxes cause plant damage, while true circles cause a sudden superheating of the plants it affects. It bends them, but it does NOT break them. Additionally, true circles are also often multi-layered. You can't do that with boards and ropes. And they DO occur in daytime, in broad daylight, next to highways in fact. Evidence suggest they affect the electromagnetic field of the area they affect. These hoaxers must be extremely well educated in philosphies behind many religion, in mathematics, in even quantum physics. Have you looked at the mathemetical anylsis of some of these "works of art"? The media uses deceptive film-editting tactics to portray the illusion that people are capable of creating these formations in the time frame many are given. Maybe people are capable of creating such formation, but NOT without complete secrecy in the dead of night without leaving any trace of entering or exitting the fields. Many do not occur in fields with tramlines, in fact, some don't even occur in crops, but have been known to appear in ice, snow, even sand. By now I'm sure some of these farmers are so paranoid or so fed up with all this fuss about crop circles they are highly alert. They may even have 24 hour security or surveillence of their fields. And yet hoaxers continue to evade them. oh, and hoaxers, how did you make the magnetic grid? Can you explain exactly how you made EVERY circle? Otherwise, one of them must have slipped through your hoaxing work. You must be able to prove that ALL circles are made by man, or your insistence they are manmade is wrong. In fact, why don't all of you stop hoaxing, and if the phenoma persists, then we'll know the truth. Until you explain how you charge the cirlces with radiation, super heat them, bend them all in clockwise and counterclockwisemulti-layered weaves without damaging any of the plants so they are no longer capable of growing...until you can explain how you manage to float invisible over fields as you do your work in complete darkness, until you can explain how you seem to drain the moisture within the circle with boards and ropes, or whatever other mundane equipment it is you use, you are not hoaxing to my satisfaction, because you can't reproduce the real phenomenon.

Message: Over the past two days, I have been watching "Crop Circles: Quest for the Truth" (our forward-looking library in Colorado has a DVD copy). I have been so moved watching it -- it answers a lot of questions I had and a new one has arisen. Several crop circles are indicated as having been created in response to investigation (Celtic crosses) or conversations ("Wouldn't it be great if...?"). This morning, between meditation and watching a bit of the documentary before I went to work, it came to ask if any crop circle formation throughout the world had been observed in a "re"action to 9/11? It seems as if the makers of these wonderous designs, so attuned to the core of the very essence of our being, would be sensitive to the impact of such an overwehlming event on the human psyche. Thank you for offering this forum for these questions ...I was guided to ask and simply did not know where to go! Thanks for your website, I loved my visit to Wiltshire but it was in the spring and no circles, alas.

Message: I hate to inject common sense here, but please explain this to me. If these crop circles were made by aliens with such high intelligence that they travelled light years, or by 'Mother Earth', then how come they started out VERY simple and evolved into very complex patterns? Surely these aliens had the technology to start with the complex patterns. So why did they wait? Gee, it couldn't have anything to do with the fact that us HUMANS have access to better technology (cheap GPS systems, night vision goggles, etc.) which allows more complex patterns. The best is when people who claim these are by aliens actually try to pass off the increasingly complex patterns as proof for THEIR theory. Yeah, right. I guess when they first got here 20 years ago, aliens were JUST advanced enough to get to Earth and make simple circles. But in the last 20 years, their technology has advanced to do what we see today. Yup.

Message: Having worked in people’s homes in the crop circle area for 10 years until 1999.

Several times I heard it mentioned and it was reported that during the night that the more intricate crop circles appeared, a light aircraft was heard flying low over the area.

The suggestion was that a laser controlled by a laptop computer was fired from the aircraft and flatted the crop in a second to a pre programmed design.

The crop circle area is near to the Army’s Larkhill weapons and laser sighting testing area, the worlds leading laser technology is right on the doorstep, so is it used by someone as the designs are getting bigger and more precise every year.

It would be interesting to talk to a laser export to see if this was possible.
