First Published November 14 1996 Ghost set to be auctioned off White witch Kevin Carlyon is hoping to rid himself of a 300-year-old ghost at an auction in aid of the BBC's Children in Need appeal to be held in the ancient stone circle. Kevin, 37, has been plagued by Florrie the ghost ever since he performed an exorcism at Avebury's Red Lion pub in September. He says bizarre happenings at his home in Hastings have prompted him to try and sell the supernatural character to a Wiltshire publican. Florrie, he says, is a regular pubgoer.
