First Published January 23 2002 Florrie the ghost stars in TV show TV documentary makers making a film about Britain's most haunted houses descended on the Red Lion pub in Avebury last night. The new documentary, presented by former Blue Peter presenter, Yvette Fielding, is being launched on cable, satellite and digital channel, Living TV, in April. The TV team, consisting of scientist and parapsychologist, Jason Karl, eminent spiritual medium Derek Acorah, and technical crew spent the night in the pub. Richard Bowndes, 26, landlord of the pub for the last three years, said: 'We've got two ghosts. One is called florrie and she has haunted the pub ever since she was murdered by her husband in Cromwellian times. 'She flicks switches, moves keys and bottles and swings the chandeliers. 'She managed to lock us out of the pub when we first arrived by moving a whisky bottle full of cash in front of the door.' Avebury and its famous stone circle is a World Heritage Site with origins dating back to prehistoric times. Most Haunted will launch on cable, satellite and digital channel Living TV in April.
